Lecture: Teaching Language to Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

The objective of the lecture is to provide parents and professionals with information about how to accelerate language to young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder often have delays in language. In the lecture Christine Milne, a research coordinator and international consultant from Autism Partnership in the United States, will share Autism Partnership’s model in teaching language to young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Moreover, she will give an overview on how to teach basic language skills, increase spontaneous language, and increase children’s ability to communicate socially. In addition, she will give information on how to develop effective language curriculum and share videos on how to apply this teaching.
